Bach and Bread

Frequently, I knead dough whilst listening to Bach.  Sometimes, it's the Choralbuch, but often it is one of two concerti.  I listend to the A Minor Triple Concerto (a favourite of mine) or the D Minor Harpsichord Concerto.  These each run somewhat over twenty minutes, and are thus useful as a timer.  I find that kneading helps to concentrate my listening, and that it is a great activity to go along with the relentless intensity of the outer movements of these concerti. By contrast, the Choralbuch (or occasional cantati) make kneading a more meditative activity.
