A Pleasant Place
Last Saturday, we went to Ashland, Wisconsin, on Lake Superior, for
family reasons. We often go through Ashland on our way to
Minnesota, but we have never stopped there. It is a nice
place. I can especially recommend the Black Cat Coffee House on
Chapple St. A real coffee house (and you can get beer and mead
there, too!), like our late and lamented Motherlode.
Next time you're on US Highway 2 going through Wisconsin, stop
there.
